George W. “Mick” MacMurdo, 62, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 at Princeton Place in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
George was born on September 27th, 1962 in Ellwood City the son of the late George W. “Mickey” and Rita (Patterson) MacMurdo Jr.. George had attended Lincoln High School, and over the years he had worked in the construction industry.
He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Feit of Darlington, son and daughter-in-law, William and Linda MacMurdo of Shaler Township, 3 grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Mark Houk of Ellwood City, brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Robert “Duke” and Pam MacMurdo of Zelienople, and his brother-in-law, Greig McClintock of Lisbon , Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Sandra MacMurdo and Charlene McClintock.
A private entombment service was held for the family at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, St. Peter’s Mausoleum. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
