Thomas A. Mullen, 61

Thomas A. Mullen, 61, formerly of Ellwood City, Alaska, and Texas passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at his residence in Union Township.

Thomas was born in Sasebo, Japan on October 19th, 1963 to the late James E. and Patricia A. (Ericson) Mullen. He had graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1982,and briefly attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. At the age of 21 Tom drove to Alaska and enlisted with the United States Airforce and served for 6 years as an airplane mechanic. He then served for another 14 years with the United States Airforce Reserves. Following his service, Tom moved to Texas and eventually back to his hometown area. Before going to Alaska Tom had worked at Revco Pharmacy at their Franklin Township Plaza location. During his transition from Alaska to Texas Tom briefly worked as an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed building model airplanes and listening to rock & roll and country music. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his sister and her husband, Margaret and Joseph Leymarie of Franklin Township, brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Susan Mullen of Woodbridge, Virginia, niece, Megan Bottles-Sillman and her daughter Millie Dawn Bottles-Sillman.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patricia Ann Mullen.

Following Tom’s wishes there will not be a public service. The cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
