Mrs. Cheryl A. Shirley, 69, of North Sewickley Township passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 6th, 2025 with her loving family at her bedside.
Cheryl was born in Rochester, PA on March 16th, 1955 to the late Edward E. and Phillis (Holman) Britton. Over the years Cheryl worked as a waitress at various places in the area, many of those years at the Hazel Manor when it was owned by Reno Augostino. She later worked for 4 years at the Nalco North Plant in the housekeeping department. Known for her great voice, Cheryl sang with many different bands. She also loved fishing and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Shirley, daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Baker-First, Christina Baker-Lee both of East Palestine, OH, and Ashley Shirley of New Castle, sons, Kenneth J. (Alexandra) Shirley of North Sewickley Township, Steven Shirley of Ellwood City, and Dustin Shirley of Koppel, grandchildren, Vanessa, Evan, Austin, Cloee, Lincoln, Antonio, Ashayla, Xavier, and Anellya, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Sue Ellen (Randy) Hollibaugh of North Sewickley Township, Kathy Britton, Barbara Britton both of Ellwood City, Cindy Gatto of New Castle, and Angel Britton of Florida, and her brother, Brian (Joan) Britton of North Sewickley Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ed Britton.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Blessing Service at 6:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
