Ila L. Bauder Matsook, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Quality Life New Castle.
Born in Ellwood City on May 2, 1934, Ila was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Shuster Chappelle. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry M. Bauder and her second husband, Eugene Matsook. She had worked at the Market Place on Main in Ellwood City. She was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church.
Ila is survived by her son, Timothy J. Bauder of Castlewood, 3 grandchildren, Coltin Bauder, Zeb Bartley and Jessica Bauder and 3 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Ila was preceded in death by a son, Harry W. Bauder, a grandson, Shane Bauder a brother, Joseph Chappelle, 5 sisters, Delores Landfair, Jean Bokor, Marlene Ripper, Jackie Ferrigno and Ann Sipple.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Keith Black of Raccoon U.P. Church in Aliquippa. Interment will be in Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.
