Kathleen M. Leasure, 71, of Wayne Township passed away on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Kathleen was born in Ellwood City on October 20th, 1953 the daughter of the late Jacob Figurel. For many years she worked at Ohio Carpenters Benefits in the claims department. Kathy was also a participant in the UPMC Jameson Hospital, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program in New Castle.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Timblin of Point Marion, PA and Erin (Doug) Palmer of Wayne Township, grandchildren, Christopher (Nikita) Johnson, Andrew Palmer, Lucy Palmer, and Holly Palmer, her sister, Elaina (Bill) Lindner of Evans City, and her brothers, Richard (Karen) Figurel, Jack Figurel, Keith Figurel, Michael Figurel, and Curt (Shar) Figurel.
Following Kathleen’s wishes there will not be a public service. The cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to spend time with Kathy in the last few years. She was always so happy, we shared many laughs.
