Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of January 27th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JANUARY 27

• 10:30 a.m. – “Music and Movement,” a program designed to learn while singing and dancing.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” for children to play with the toys and each other.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 28

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 30

• 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – “Adult Card Club,” bring your friends and play cards or games. We provide the place and coffee, tea and water.
• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 6:00 p.m. – “Just You and Me Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Wishtree” by Katherine Applegate.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 31

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring” coloring supplies provided or bring your own.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” do your own project with other knitters.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1

• 10:00 a.m. – “Reading Buddies,” read to the dogs.
• 10:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. – “STEAM ,” hands on learning in our program room.
• Noon – “Bookworms,” will be discussing the book “Legends of Lotus Island: The Guardian Test” by Christina Soontornvat.
• 2:00 p.m. – “Hooked on Books,” will be discussing the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” by Roald Dahl.
