Mrs. Patricia A. Mullen, 87, formerly of Perry Township, passed away on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 at the Avalon Care Center in New Castle.
Patricia was born on July 8th, 1937 in Pittsburgh to the late Clarence Arthur and Margaret “Mary” (Coleman) Ericson. She graduated from Perry High School in Pittsburgh and worked as a Registered Nurse at various places in the United States while traveling with her military based husband. Patricia is a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church, Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers, and VFW Axillary Post 315. She liked being outside, tending to her gardens and farming. Patricia also enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, playing bingo, and traveling to different places.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret M. (Joseph) Leymarie of Franklin Twp., sons, Francis (Susan) Mullen of Woodbridge, Va, and Thomas A. Mullen of New Castle, granddaughter, Megan Marie Bottle-Sillman, great-granddaughter, Millie Dawn Bottles-Sillman, and sisters, Susan (Gary) Keisling of Bryan, OH, and Carole Bender of Pittsburgh.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James E. Mullen whom she married on August 7th, 1979, and passed away on November 21st, 2007, daughter, Patricia Ann Mullen, and brother, Ronald Ericson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th from 5-7 p.m. at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 am at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Members of the Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church by 10:50 am to form an honor guard. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
