Geraldine “Jeri” Rough, 71

Geraldine A. “Jeri” Rough, 71, of Ellport passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Born in Ellwood City on April 12, 1953, Jeri was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mollie Nocera Mazzanti.  She is survived by her husband, Ronald Rough, whom she married on February 6, 1971.  Jerri was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church.  She was a 1971 graduate of Riverside High School.  Jerri operated the Snack Shack in the Emporium and later worked at Hall of Fame Lanes.  She also managed and operated the Ellport Family Restaurant.  Jeri was a loving mother and grandmother.  Whether it was cooking for her family or just spending time together, Jeri valued her loved ones most of all.

Besides her husband Ron, Jeri is survived by 3 daughters, Becky and Jimmi O’Neil of Ellwood City, Tracie and Henry Frengel III of West Pittsburg and Jennifer Holler of Ellwood City, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, a sister, Virginia “Ginger” Rodgers of Ellport, 5 brothers, Jacob and Cynthia Mazzant, David and Kimberly Mazzant, Joe and Marsha Mazzant all of Hermitage, Dan and Terri Mazzant of Ellwood City and Mark and Tammy Mazzant of Ellport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. with Fr. Joseph Freedy, celebrant.  Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
