Stanley J. Engleman, 79, of Ellport, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Grove in New Wilmington.
Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 7, 1945, Stanley was the son of the late George S. and Mildred E. Kraus Engleman. Stanley was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Patricia A. Ferrera in November of 2011 and his second wife, the former Sandra Chulak Richardson on September 19, 2021. Stanley had retired as the warehouse manager for the Pittsburgh Water Authority. He was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Stanley was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the USS America. He served from July of 1965 through August of 1967. Stan was a World War II history buff and enjoyed golfing, hunting, collecting trains and firearms. He traveled the world and went on several African Safaris hunting big game.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Carla and Thomas Salzman of Versailles, MO and son, Steven Michel of CA, 3 step-children, Thomas and Judy Rossi of Canfield, OH, Denise and Mark Phipps of Harrisville, Tony and Regina Rossi of Coraopolis, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM by Fr. Joseph M. Freedy.
