Dorene McLaughlin, 61, of North Sewickley Township passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 14th, 2024.
Dorene was born in Ellwood City on April 28th, 1963 to Gloria (Popoff) Arkwright and the late Robert D. McLaughlin. She had attended Riverside High School and graduated from Beaver County Community College with a degree in Phlebotomy. For the past 24 years Dorene worked at U.S. Gypsum in Aliquippa as a lab technician. In her earlier years she served as a Rainbow Worthy Advisor.
She is survived by her mother Gloria and step-father Bill Arkwright of North Sewickley Township, daughter Adrian Searle of Sharon, son William Brent Robles of New Castle, grandchildren Bryce Searle and Addyson Searle, sisters Leslie (Todd) Main of Ellwood City and Dawn (Gregg) Proper of Oklahoma, brothers Allen (Catherine) McLaughlin of Ellwood City and Dirk Arkwright of Conneautville, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal grandparents Kime and Mary Popoff.
Following Dorene’s wishes there will not be a public service. The cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
