Mrs. Olive Lee “Huddy” White, 93, formerly of Perry Township passed away on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 at the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.
Mrs. White was born in New Brighton on September 9th, 1931 to the late Irvin L. and Marion Frances (Holbrook) Bonzo. She is a member of the New Brighton High School class of 1949, and was a member of the Wurtemburg Methodist Church. Over the years Huddy worked at Passavant Retirement Community, Airway Luggage, school bus drive for Zona’s Busing, and as a self-employed care giver for the elderly. She had member ships with the Ellwood City Saxons Club Auxiliary, Eastern Star, and Beaver Falls Elk’s Club.
She is survived by her sons, David White of Mentor, Ohio, Howard Neal (Erika) White of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kenneth (Debbie) White of Elba, Alabama, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don Leroy White whom she married on October 19th, 1951 and passed away on June 16th, 1998, son Jimmy White, sister, Frances Caldwell, and brother, James Bonzo.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 24th, 2024 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev Dr. Robert J. Guy, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be at Arlington Cemetery.
