Edna Mae Epperly, 86, of Zelienople, formerly of Ellwood City, passed into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at UPMC Passavant.
Born in New Eagle, PA on February 27, 1938, Edna was the daughter of the late Leroy A. and Leah L. Crawford Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. B. Epperly on February 22, 1982. They were married on April 5, 1963. Edna grew up in the Scenery Hill area and worked as a housekeeper until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church and attended Seaman Lutheran Church in Zelienople while she lived at Passavant Retirement Community. Edna Mae loved quilting, embroidering, reading and spending time with her family.
Edna is survived by her son, Arthur A. and Cindy Miller of Polk, PA, 4 grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Myers, Marie Miller, Dawn and Charles Miller and Brian and Charlene Dellinger, 10 great grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Lindzie, Andrea, Elliana, Lillian, Tyler, Spencer, Alex and Eli and 2 brothers, Harry “Bob” Miller of Washington, PA and Charles and Judy Miller of Brownsville, PA.
Besides her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Darlene J. Miller, 3 brothers, Carl, James and Leroy Miller and 2 sisters, Martha Ross and Jennie Wilcox.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and from 6 P.M. until the time of her funeral service at 7 P.M. with Pastor Dr. Robert Guy. Interment will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery.
