In a statement made available on the borough website and social media this week, the Borough of Ellwood City is notifying its residents there will be no shut offs this month and all late fees will be waived due to system issues.
The Borough is aware that delinquent notices have been mailed with a shut off date included. Per the Borough Manager, Kevin Swogger, there will be no shut offs in the month of September and all late fees will be waived for the month of September due to system issues with the new operating system for Ellwood Electric. We apologize for any issues the notices may have caused. If you have any questions regarding your account balance, new login information or need any direction utilizing the new online bill pay site, please call the electric office at (724) 758-5576 or (724) 824-7624.

In July, the borough announced that its previous bill payment system, PayDici, would no longer be used as the online payment portal and the borough would be migrating to a new platform for online bill payments, WIPP – https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp/?wippid=ELLW
Invoices for September 2024 are in a different format compared to months prior. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the utility office 724-758-5577, 724-758-5576 or 724-824-7624.
The borough asks for continued patience in the matter as this is a new process for everyone and there may be delays within the office.
