Ronald W. Curtis, 69, of Ellwood City passed away in the ER of UPMC Jameson Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Born in Ellwood City on November 14, 1954, Ron was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Swogger Curtis. Ron was a machinist and had worked at the Ellwood Forge and retired from Ellwood Crankshaft and Machine Co in Hermitage. A 1973 graduate of Riverside High School, Ron was a Steeler, Wrestling and Harley Davidson fan. Ron enjoyed traveling with friends and family on his Harley Davidson.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Billie Jo and Joe McQuistion of New Waterford, OH and Jodi and Jed McCombs of Ellwood City, 4 grandchildren, Breanna and Scott Knight, Evan McQuistion, Leland McQuistion and Braden McCombs, 3 sisters, Linda and Bob Main of Ellwood City, Virginia and Tom Cooper of Wampum, Patty and Dick Wiley of Fombell and a brother, Sonny and Ree Curtis of Ellwood City, his loving dog, Dude and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie McLaughlin.
As per Ron’s request there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
