Mrs. Bertha I. Wright, 91, of Franklin Township passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 at her daughters residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Wright was born in Ellwood City on July 24th, 1933 the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Florence Mae (Wimer) Evans. She married the love of her life Richard J. “Dick” Wright on October 1st, 1953 after which they raised their seven children together. Bertha enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching Fox News, listening to country music, and most of all time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her beloved dogs.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Richard Massioni of Franklin Township, Kathy and John Rugh of Perry Township, and Louise and Jim Osche of North Sewickley Township, sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Rhonda Wright of North Sewickley Township, Dennis and Kim Wright of Fombell, and Joseph Wright of North Sewickley Township, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard who passed away on October 30th, 2008, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Richard Ottaviani, great-grandson Dakota C. Kennedy, sisters Louise Radich, Ethel Hairhoger, and Elizabeth Miller, and her brother Ralph Evans.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9th, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. Phil Conklin officiating. Interment will follow at the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
