Mrs. Patricia Ann Sturgis, 70, formerly of Franklin Township passed away on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 at The Village at Unity in Rochester , New York.
Mrs. Sturgis was born in Laurel Garden, PA on December 27th, 1953 to the late Arthur J. and Theresa (Polome) Marziale, Sr.. She is a member of the North Hills High School class of 1972, and the Lillyville Church of God. She had worked at the Seneca Valley School District for eight years as a teacher’s aide, and later at Passavant Retirement Community for another eight years in the housekeeping department. Patty’s favorite past time was doing needlepoint.
She is survived by her daughters Christine (Gary) Morton of Pittsburgh, Valerie (Brett) Lindenmuth of Rochester, New York, and Jesce Sturgis of Beckley, West Virginia, grandchildren Hannah Morton, Sam Morton, Jacob Lindenmuth, Tyler Lindenmuth, Hailey Walker, Ryleigh Sturgis, and Makayla Fischer, sister Elena Marziale, and brothers Arthur (Dana) Marziale Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and John (Terri) Marziale of Fombell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William A. Sturgis whom she married on June 5th, 1987 and passed away on March 23rd, 2017, and her son Colin Charles Fischer, Jr..
Family and Friends will be received on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Gary McKenna officiating. Interment will follow at the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
