Ellwood City Boys Golf Team Knocks Off Riverside, Improves To 5-0

Three Wolverine golfers went low on Monday to help Ellwood City remain unbeaten as they knocked off rival Riverside 199-220 at Del Mar Golf Course.

Jordan Keller fired a match-low round of 33 to lead the Wolverines.  Jaxon Rozanski and Nate Kennedy also each submitted sub-40 rounds, finishing with rounds of 39 respectively.

Andy Lin (46) and Braden Roberts (42) rounded out the scoring for Ellwood City.

Drake Fox fired a team-low round of 41 for the Panthers in defeat. Fry and Garvin posted rounds of 44 for the Riverside.

Ellwood City will next travel to play at Neshannock on Tuesday.

GIRLS GOLF: Rori Minerd finished with a team-low round of 53 for the Ellwood City girls golf team on Monday, but the Lady Wolverines fell to North Catholic 191-240 at Pheasant Ridge GC.  Izzy Engleka finished with a low round of 40 for North Catholic. The Ellwood City girls golf team (0-3 overall) will turn its focus to Central Valley on Wednesday and look to collect its first victory of the season.
