The Ellwood City boys golf team is off to a quick start, earning victories in their first two matches of the fall golf season.
Junior Jordan Keller fired a match-low 32 on Friday to help Ellwood City earn a 205-213 victory over Ambridge at Fox Run Golf Course.
Nate Kennedy finished with a round of 41, Braden Roberts a round of 42, and Andy Lin and Jaxon Rozanski rounded out the scoring with rounds of 45 for the Wolverines.
On Monday, Kennedy joined Keller with sub-40 rounds as Ellwood City knocked off Union at Sylvan Heights. Keller finished with a low round of 37 and Kennedy checked in with a round of 39 for the victors.
Andy Lin (42), Braden Roberts (43), and Jaxon Rozanski (45) rounded out the scoring for the Wolverines.
The boys golf team (2-0 Overall) continues play with a match Tuesday at Sylvan Heights Golf Course against New Castle.
The Lady Wolverines golf team dropped its opening match of the season last week, falling to Shady Side Academy 193-249 on Friday. Chelsea Baker finished with a team-low round of 58 for Ellwood City.
