Nancy Ann Winegar, 83, of Ellwood City, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 12, 2024.
Born in New Castle on March 31, 1941, Nancy was the daughter of the late Ernest and Maude Zeigler King. She is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Winegar whom she married on June 26, 1964. Nancy was a Registered Nurse and had worked at the Ellwood City Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 212. Nancy enjoyed reading.
Besides her husband, Nancy is survived by her 2 children, Lee O’Brien Winegar of Ellwood City and Karen and Frank Klinzing of Fombell, 2 grandchildren, Jessica Klinzing and Beryl Klinzing, her sister, Janet and Robert Ormbsy of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Nancy will be at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM until the time of her Memorial Service at 5:00 PM with her pastor, Rev. Tom O’Brien.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made in Nancy’s name to the Lawrence Co. Humane Society, PO Box 62 New Castle, PA 16103 or The First Christian Church, 317 Rt. 288, Ellwood City, PA 16117.
