Mrs. Ann Walker, 80, of Freedom passed away on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Ann was born in Ellwood City on January 19th, 1944 to the late Adam and Rose (DeBlasio) Vincik. She worked for Rockwell Spring Works in New Castle, and then at Leeds and Northrup as a machine operator. Ann enjoyed camping and fishing.
She is survived by her husband Richard Lou Walker of Freedom whom she married on June 17th, 1978, son Donald (Mary Jo) Hogue of Ellwood City, grandchildren Donald R. (Jennifer) Hogue, Douglas R. (Hannah) Hogue, and Daniel J. (Nicole) Hogue, great-grandchildren Domenik, Braxton, Hadley, Ella, Sadie, Bennett, and Ian Hogue, sister Toni Lockley, sister-in-law Belva Ruth Lawton, special nephew Ryan Vincik, her beloved dog “Molly”, and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy Vincik, and brothers Adam Jr., Johnny, William “Billy”, Fred Vincik.
Family and Friends will be received on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Inurnment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Freedom. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
