Mrs. Martha “Dolly” Fotia, 92, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 19th, 2024 at Franciscan Manor.
Mrs. Fotia was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (Todd) Muntean Sr. born on April 4th, 1932 in Ellwood City. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1950and took accounting classes at Beaver County Community College. Dolly worked at for 14 years at Dustproof Mattress Co. and then at Townsend Textron for another 14 years both as an accounting secretary. She was a member of the Park Alliance Church in Ewing Park and served as assistant treasurer for 12 years and managed the Love in action program at the church.
Martha is survived by her sister-in-law Anna Marie Fotia and brother-in-law Sam and his wife Joyce Fotia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolly and her husband Joe where dearly loved and enjoyed traveling with their dear friends Mark and Jean Jamison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph W. Fotia whom she married on September 9th, 1961 and passed earlier this year, sisters Anne Blazak, Lucratia Flugher, Eleanor Muntean, Elizabeth Balmer, Mary Burgess, Vera Holder, and Helen Oliver, and her brothers Nick Muntean Jr., Alex Muntean, John Muntean, and David Muntean.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. Joel Mondary officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
