SIMPLE ASSAULT:
Ryan Kelosky, 31, of Fombell, is charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident on July 14th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 3:06 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Park Avenue for a domestic disturbance involving a female victim and Kelosky. Kelosky had left on foot and police found the victim in the house on the kitchen floor complaining of pain in her back and foot. She related to police she was arguing and that she told Kelosky to come in the house to stay the night as he was causing a scene outside the complaint relates. Once inside the arguing continued and the victim related Kelosky threw her into the fridge and grabbed a table, flung it onto her while she was on the floor and then left the residence. A neighbor reported to police that she heard a loud thud in the building that woke her up. Based upon the facts contained in the complaint, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Kelosky.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT:
Blake Zeigler, 23, of Ellwood City, is charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Use/Possession after an incident on July 10th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 10:52 p.m., police were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on Argonne Blvd. and the caller reported that her son was out of control, trying to run over her mother. When police arrived they found Zeigler standing outside of a car arguing with two women, refusing to calm down for officers and waving his arms around and jumping up and down. Police could not safely conduct an investigation into the incident with how Zeigler was acting and police were concerned for the safety of everyone involved the complaint relates. Police later attempted to detain Zeigler but he refused and swung his arms like he was preparing to fight the report continues. Police later executed a take down of Zeigler and place him in handcuffs and into a police car. The two females later related to police that Zeigler had been using drugs and was calling them for money to go buy more. At ECPD, police were finally able to search Zeigler more thoroughly and located a small plastic baggy with red lips stamped on it and some type of powdery residue on the inside.
SIMPLE ASSAULT:
Dale Dyke, 42, of New Castle, is charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident on June 30th. According to a criminal complaint, police were dispatched to the Shelby Bar for a male who was lying on the side of the bar, found bleeding and injured. The victim stated he was beat up by a member of a motorcycle club whereas he was approached outside the bar and was attacked and hit in the head and face until he was on the ground. Officers spoke to a bartender who stated that the victim was shut off because he was intoxicated and that the victim was bothering the defendent’s girlfriend which led to words between the two parties. On July 15th police spoke with the victim who related the injuries received from the assault included a broken nose, possible fractures to orbital bones, injuries to his back, and numerous cuts and bruises to his head, face and body. Sufficient probably cause exists to have charges filed against Dyke the complaint relates.
DUI:
Angel Acosta, 64, of Ellwood City, is charged with DUI after an incident on July 3rd. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately, 12:42 a.m., police observed a SUV traveling on Wampum Road with its left turn signal flashing and pursued to initiate a traffic stop. Upon contact with the driver, he related he dropped his friend off in Wampum but did not know his name and was returning home. Police observed Acosta to have glossy eyes and slurred speech and was asked to perform a field sobriety test for which he failed. Acosta also informed police he had Meth in his pocket and turned it over to officers. Acosta was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to a nearby hospital for a blood draw.
