Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of June 17th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

The Library has partnered with Seneca Library District, Oil Creek Library District, Erie County Public Library and Crawford County Federated Library System for e-books. You can now use the Overdrive or Libby App. to borrow books from the above Libraries. Please call the library with any questions.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, JUNE 17

• 1:30 p.m. – “Adult Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The Secret Book of Flora Lea,” by Patti Callahan Henry.

TUESDAY, JUNE 18

• 10:30 a.m. – “Board Game Club,” a program that is all about playing games.
• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19

• 10:30 a.m. – “Art Club,” a program for arts and crafts.
• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. –“Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 5:00 p.m. – “Classic Movie for Adults,” we are bringing movies back! Light refreshments will be served. Call the Library for more information.

THURSDAY, JUNE 20

• 10:30 a.m. – “Lego Club,” a program for you to build with our Legos.
• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:30 p.m. – “Book Bunch Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Dragons in a Bag” by Zetta Elliot.

FRIDAY, JUNE 21

• 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adult,” a program to come and relax and relieve anxiety as you create a beautiful picture.
• The Library will be closing at NOON for maintenance on the parking lot. Sorry for the inconvenience.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22

• 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – “Victorian Tea,” a fundraiser at the Calvin Church. Tickets available at the Library.

Starting in June the Library will begin collecting books for the book sale in October!

Summer Schedules for Children’s Library are on our website – ellwoodcitylibrary.com and in the Library. Call the Library to register.

August 16th we will be hosting a wine walk from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased at the Library, from a Board member, from All Aboard Ellwood members and on Eventbrite. This event will feature local wineries, craft beer, distilleries and food trucks.
