It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Ann Clark announce her passing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the age of 73 years. She was at home in Magnolia, TX with her beloved husband Michael. Kathy was born on June 30, 1950 in Ellwood City, PA. to Eugene Leroy and Mary Flanagan Stiefel. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City in 1968. Immediately after high school Kathy joined the U. S. Navy and served for three years. Her name is included on the Vietnam War Veterans monument on the grounds of the Ellwood City Hall. In recent years while living in Kingwood, TX, Kathy served as a library volunteer with the Kingwood TX Women’s Club.
Kathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Michael, and her children, Adam and Timothy. She will also be remembered by her sister Dr. Karen (Shep) Stiefel Harrison of San Antonio TX, her former daughter-in-law Donna, and her grandchildren, Rosa Ashley (Justin), and Alex Hernandez. Kathy was also Aunt Kathy to Amy DeBlasio (Gary) and their children Brooklyn and Mya of Ellwood City as well as Kevin Moczan, Angie Moczan, and Matthew Moczan of the Harmony/Pittsburgh area. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Linda Gene Moczan, and her great-grandson Beau Armour Ashley.
Plans for a celebration of her life will be provided at a future date. Arrangements are being handled by Magnolia Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Kathy to any worthy organization or charity that provides help and support to children.
