Donna Sue (Beckman) Bailey, 63, of Ellwood City, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep May 10th, 2024.
Donna is survived by her parents John and Ruthann Beckman of Patterson Twp, her sister Deborah (Gary) Brooks of Winston-Salem, NC, and brother David (Heather) Beckman of Patterson Twp. Her four children, Joan (Chris) Sprague of Huntington Beach, CA, Jennifer Dodds of Ellwood City, John David (Rachel) Bailey of Koppel, and Julie (Devin) Foley of New Castle. Her four grand children, Elle, Violet, Olive and James.
She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Florence Haberle, grandfather Louis Haberle, and uncle, Charles “Ray” Thomas.
Donna was a graduate of Blackhawk High School class of 1979. She worked at PTC Alliance and at the Ellwood City Candy Company.
She survived a battle with colon cancer in 2015 and has been a fighter ever since. She enjoyed her retirement with her dog, Mae, and loved to garden and bird watch from her window. She loved her family fiercely and loved her Tom Selleck tv shows.
She did not want a funeral or a viewing but if you’d like to do anything to honor her, plant some veggies, feed your neighborhood birds, enjoy nature, and be grateful for all God has given us.
