Bruce Myers, 73, of North Sewickley Township, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 in his residence surrounded by his family.
Born in Ellwood City on December 5, 1950, Bruce was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Zduniak Myers. He married the former Kathryn Snider on June 21, 1975. Bruce graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968. A Veteran of the US Navy, Bruce served during the Vietnam War. He retired from EQS in 2004. Bruce enjoyed many things including gardening, cooking, going to the beach and playing softball. He also enjoyed being a grandfather and taking care of his grandchildren.
Bruce is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Kathryn Myers, three children, Nicole Myers and Clint Iams of Amity, PA, Bruce Myers II of Shenango Township and Adam and Amanda Myers of Neshannock Township, two sisters, Debby & Kip Steckman of Butler, Tammy and Fred Vincik of Ellwood City, three brothers, Bill and Dee Myers of Ellwood City, James and Cheryl Myers of New Castle and Charles “Chick” and Melanie Myers of Shenango Township, ten grandchildren; Tyler Broge, Ethan Iams, Claire Gonzalez, Madison Broge, Emily Iams, Lily Gonzalez, Isabella Myers, Spencer Myers, Elliott Myers and Emily Myers.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by a sister, Paulette Myers.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 23rd from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
