Betty Ann Brown, 88

Mrs. Betty Ann Brown, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on December 1st, 2023 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township.

Mrs. Brown was born on September 16th, 1935 in Ellwood City to the late Thomas L. and Pearl J. (Lasso) Beatrice. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1954 and the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. In her earlier years she worked at Jackson’s Shoe Store which was on Lawrence Ave. in Ellwood City. Betty enjoyed both bowling and golfing and is a member of the Connoquenessing Country Club Women’s Golf League.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (John) Steilner and son Bradley J. Brown D.D.S. (Gina Borselli) both of Ellwood City, sister Dana Delisio of Ellwood City, brother Anthony “Lou” Beatrice of Ellwood City, grandchildren Johnny (Jessica) Steilner Jr. of Moon Twp., Savannah Steilner of Los Angeles, CA , and Teresa Brown of Reynoldsburg, OH, great-grandchildren, Layla, Liza, and Dominic Steilner, and Sullivan Poe MaGee. Betty is also survived by her special life long friend Raylene Robbins of Ellwood City.

Proceeding her in death where her parents, husband Dale Allen Brown whom she married on February 2nd, 1957 and passed away on June 10th, 2010, son Darrell Allen Brown, and brothers Gary Beatrice and Thomas Beatrice, Jr..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church with Father Jim Wehner officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
