Mr. Gary T. Rozanski, Sr., 72, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Mr. Rozanski was born in Ellwood City on June 1st, 1951 to the late Carl and Mary (Wojciechowicz) Rozanski. He had graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1969 and from Beaver County Community College in 1971 earning an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Mechanics. For 30 years Gary worked at McElwain’s in the service department as a master technician followed by 10 years at Good Wheel’s as the service manager. He is a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church, the Holy Redeemer Holy Name Society, and the Special Activities Group (SAG). Gary served on the Ellwood City School Board for over 16 years. He enjoyed going to car cruises with his Corvette, tinkering around the house, and most of all attending all his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Vicky (Klages) Rozanski whom he married on October 26th, 1974, daughter Abby Rozanski of Ellwood City, sons Gary (Tammy) Rozanski Jr. of Ellwood City and Ryan (Cristina) Rozanski of Shaler Township, and grandchildren Keira, Jaxon, and Gioia Rozanski.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald Rozanski in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Members of the SAG and Holy Name Society are asked to meet at the funeral home on Sunday by 6:40 pm to conduct a service at 6:45 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church with Father Jim Wehner officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
