Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of November 13th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Manipulative Mondays,” a program for children to learn in a hands on environment.
  • 6:30 p.m. – “Classics Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Rebecca” by Daphne DuMaurier.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14

  • 10:00 a.m. – “Baby Laptime,” a program for babies, toddlers and preschool age children. Please call the Library to register.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Lego Duplo Tuesdays,” a program for children to come and build with Lego’s and Duplo bricks.
  • 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Sorcery of Thorns” by Margaret Rogerson.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. –“Coloring for Adults,” a program for adults to come and de-stress while coloring with either our supplies or their own.
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” a group that meets and works on individual projects. New people are welcome.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Building Buddies,” a program for children to come and build using our blocks.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16

  • 12:15 p.m. – “Preschool Storytime,” a program for preschool age children that are toilet trained. Please call the Library to register.
  • 5:00 p.m. – “Food 4 Thought,” book group will be discussing the book “Woke up like this” by Amy Lea.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 17

  • 10:00 a.m. – “S.T.E.A.M. Saturday,” a program of hands on learning for kids K-6.
