Mr. John W. Wiley, 67, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, October 26th, 2023 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle due to complications from cancer.
John was born on December 4th, 1955 in Ellwood City to the late William R. “Bill” and Rose Marie (Keul) Wiley. He had graduated from Slippery Rock High School. For 25 years John worked at Koppel Steel. He is a member of the Hungarian Home, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
John is survived by his daughter Erica Wiley (Josh Rennels) of Perry Twp., son William Wiley of Chewton, grandchildren Logan, Axel, Cameron, Rylee, and Tristan, and his sister Wendy (John) Maldovan of Jessup, MD.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. R. Tod Custer officiating.
John’s family would like to thank the staff at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Neshannock Twp. and the staff of the UPMC Jameson Hospital Critical Care Unit for the wonderful care that they extended to John.
