Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Sandore, 70, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at the Community Living Center in Butler.
Tommy was born in Ellwood City on September 29th, 1953 to the late John and Rosa L. (Morabito) Sandore. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Tommy enlisted with the Unites States Army on November 2nd, 1970 and served until his honorable discharge on August 11th, 1972 with the rank of Private First Class. He was awarded the Nation Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter Badge. Tommy had worked at Vinny’s Restaurant as a cook and had various other jobs over the years. He was an avid Ellwood City and Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed going for long walks.
He is survived by his brother and his wife Gene R. and Barb Sanders of Wayne Twp., niece Jamie Maybray, nephew David (Audrey) Maybray, and great-niece Emma Maybray all of Ellwood City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia Maybray.
Following Tommy’s wishes there will not be a public service. Final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
