Thomas “Tommy” G. Dovutovich, 72, of Portersville, passed away on October 12th, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Thomas was born on May 24th, 1951 in Sharon to Stephen and Anna (Krizanich) Dovutovich. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School class of 1969, he proudly played on their football team. He also played for various local softball teams. He was catholic by faith. After High School, Thomas went on to serve in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, Thomas worked for General American, Wheatland Tube, Hillcrest Cemetery and R & D Logistics before his retirement. He was a member of the Ellwood City Hungarian Home, where he was fond of the company of the staff and fellow members. Thomas was a dedicated Cleveland Brown’s fan, win or lose. He enjoyed watching sports, mowing grass, yardwork, and spending time with his granddaughters, to whom he was a great “Pappy”.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Dovutovich of Hermitage, brother, Joseph (Valarie) Dovutovich of Florida, sister, Maryann Dovutovich of Hermitage , his beloved fiancée, Brenda Yaromey of Porterville and her girls that he loved and considered as daughters, Kayla (Robert) Michaels, Autumn (Josh) Baker and Ashley (Colby) Marshall, granddaughters, Shalimar, Ashayla and Arayah Baker and Journey and Destiny Michaels, niece, Amy Dovutovich and nephew, Bill Dovutovich.
He was preceded in death by his father, his cherished, only son, Stephen Dovutovich that he missed dearly, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and Heather Hall whom he considered a daughter.
As per Thomas’ wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. Final arrangements entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
