Debra A. “Debbie” Piper, 67

Debra A. “Debbie” Piper, 67, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Main) Hardy and Dale Agnew and she was born December 22, 1955 in Ellwood City

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Piper, daughters; Jennifer Piper of Ellwood City, Heather Piper of Ellwood City, one granddaughter; Cheyenne Piper of New York City, her siblings; Diane Lutz of Ellwood City, Darlene McQuiston of Fombell, Denny Agnew and his wife Kathy of Ellwood City, Dawna Fox and her husband Joe of Beaver Falls.

Debbie was born and raised in Ellwood City. She attended Lincoln and Riverside High. She married George Piper, the love of her life, on July 7, 1973. She was a bus aide for many years with First Student, whom the driver was Dona Boots, a very close friend of Debbies. 

She loved spending time with her family, especially going to Dubois with her mom, Myrtle, who she shared a wonderful love of “doilies”, her daughter, Heather and her sisters; Dawna and Kathy. Debbie absolutely loved Christmas. She and her husband George loved to can vegetables, travel and go camping. Most of all she loved her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her brother; Dale Agnew.

Friends may call on the family on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 2:00pm-7:00pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 5:30pm at Turner Funeral Home-Ellwood City, with 
Dr. Woodrow Kroll, officiating.

Interment will be in in Locust Grove Cemetery in Ellwood City.
