Robert L. Nalesnik, 85

Robert L. Nalesnik, 85, of Big Beaver Borough passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 21, 1937 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Stephen L. and Emma Popp Nalesnik.

Bob first worked for Kohlman’s Bottling in Beaver Falls then for 7 Up Bottling in Cranberry. He was a member of the Church of Nazarene in New Galilee. For many years he was a volunteer fireman for Big Beaver Borough where he held many offices including Chief. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan, loved scratch off tickets, and going to the casino. Bob was a hard worker who loved and cared for his family in any way that he could.

Survivors include his beloved wife Helen M. Iman Nalesnik; son, Robert (Rhonda) Nalesnik of Katy, TX; four daughters, Mary (Johnny) Jankowski of Ellwood City, Charlene (Steve White) Sypolt of Portersville, Marilyn Rockar of Koppel, and Lynda (Randy Love) English of Tennessee; five sisters, Emma Evanson, Genevieve Nalesnik, Nancy Nalesnik, Margaret Nalesnik, Mary Jane (Edward) Dwyer; two brothers, Tony Nalesnik andJohn Nalesnik; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angeline M. Nalesnik; granddaughter, Codie R. Lovitt; brother; Steve E. Nalesnik; and two sisters Julia Daellenbaugh and Betty Teapole.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday August 2, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday August 3, 2023 at 11:00 am. Pastor Samantha Vannoy of the HIllcrest Church of the Nazarene will officiate.

Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
