Mrs. Grace Ciccozzi, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 21st, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Beaver.
Grace was born on July 15th, 1932 in Ellwood City to the late Lugo and Mary (Maio) Ottavio. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1950, where she was in the “top ten” of her class. Grace worked at Blocher Jewelers as a bookkeeper and later for the Ellwood City Ledger as a press assistant. She is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. She had volunteered for many years at Holy Redeemer School in the cafeteria, library, and making pizzas at the annual church Bazaar.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years Theodore Ciccozzii whom she married on December 27th, 1952, daughter Cathy (David) Ioanilli of Ellwood City, sons Leonard Ciccozzi of Ellwood City, Theodore (Anna) Ciccozzi, and Patsy (Jennfer) Ciccozzi, sister-in-law Carolina “Chick” Ottavio, grandchildren Christa (Christopher) Fotia Tucker, Teddy and Alyssa Ciccozzi, great-grandson Anthony Tucker, and step grandchildren Joey, Nick, and Maria Ioanilli, and Carly Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clemente “Clem” and Angelo Ottavio, and grandson Timothy Ciccozzi.
A private visitation will be held for the family on Tuesday morning at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Family and friends are invited to a mass of Christian burial at noon on Tuesday, July 25th, 2023 at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood City with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
