LHS Class of 1959 Holds Mini Reunion

With 32 classmates in attendance, the Ellwood City Lincoln High School Class of 1959 held a mini reunion on June 30th at Mike’s Main Street, on Lawrence Avenue.

Special guests included Bob Morrow, Mayor Anthony Court, Coach Jeff “Gino” Fotia, and Attorneys Larry and Marisa Kelly.

Classmate Keith Morrison traveled the farthest to attend, logging 1,132 miles from Florida. Eight attendees came from out of state.

Mayor Court presented Ed Wigton special salutations from the Ellwood City Borough to the Class of 1959 of ECHS to be hung and displayed on the wall at Lincoln High School. Wigton was the Mayor’s & Gino’s playground instructor on Rosannah Street playground in 1968.

Patty Kady Kennedy recited her poem from the last class reunion.

All in attendance agreed that they would like to do it again in the future.

Special thanks to Shirley Perry, Kathy Gorzkowski, Carl Stoops, and Marisa Kelly.
