Mrs. Henrietta B. Booher, 79, of North Sewickley Township passed away on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at her residence.
Mrs. Booher was born in Ellwood City on October 31st, 1943 the daughter of the late William S. Nye and Clara (Newman) Nye Hawkins. She had graduated from Lincoln High School and North American School of Animal Sciences where she earned her Veterinarian Technician Certification. Henrietta worked for ACME Rental in the accounting department, the Boy Scouts of America where she managed a regional trading post in California along with being a Troop Leader and Life Member, and was the owner and operator of K-9 Kennel which was located on Brighton Road in North Sewickley Twp.. She loved animals, archery, bowling and especially her horses and dogs.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth H. Booher whom she married on January 23rd, 1960, daughter Rhonda Bucci of Titusville, FL, sons Kenneth E. (Jenna) Booher of Marion, SC and William (Lisa) Booher of Melbourne, FL, twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and sisters June Annarumo, Mary E. Beachem both of Ellwood City and Jackie Hawkins of Jackson, Mississippi.
Mrs. Booher was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edward Nye and John Hawkins Sr., and son-in-law Thomas Bucci.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. Kevin Zurrica officiating.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Booher’s name may be made to; Wild Mustang Rescue, Boy Scouts of America, or Beaver County Human Society.
