Rodnie R. Tedrow, 74, of Wampum, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Castle.
Born on November 14, 1948 in Waynesburg, PA, Rodnie was the son of the late Fred and Velma Harris Tedrow. Rodnie served in the US Army during Vietnam and Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He retired from Vesuvius McDanel in Beaver Falls where he worked as a Master Mold Maker. Rodnie enjoyed riding motorcycles and tinkering with cars, but most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his children, his grandchildren, and his dogs.
Rodnie is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Diane Shoaff Tedrow of Wampum, his daughter, Cherry Tedrow of Ellwood City, his son, Rodney (Leslie) Tedrow of New Castle, his daughter-in-law, Leslie Wassink Tedrow of Portersville, a sister, Shirley Tedrow of New Brighton, two brothers, Fred Tedrow of North Sewickley Township and Clarence Tedrow of Homewood and Martin Paul Tedrow of New Castle, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Rodnie was preceded in death by his son, Brian Tedrow.
Friends will be received on Monday, May 22nd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport. Military Honors will be conducted by the Honor Guard at 3:00 PM.
