David ‘Zeke’ T. Haswell, 76

David ‘Zeke’ T. Haswell, 76, of Ellwood City, passed unexpectedly the evening of April 30th, 2023.

He was born October 16, 1946 in Ellwood City, Pa. to the late Lloyd E. Sr. & Norma H. (Bubb) Haswell.

Dave was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1964. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed time spent in Florida, fishing & riding his Harley. Dave worked for many years at the B&W in Koppel, as well as the Ellwood City Forge. Dave was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. He was also a member of the S.O.I & Hungarian Clubs. He admired a nice car, enjoyed car cruises and he loved his family.

Dave is survived by his son, David A. (Michelle S.) Haswell of Tennessee, his grandchildren Haven (Blake Bannon) Haswell, Jaidyn Haswell, Jake Haswell, of North Carolina. Kate Hardy of Ohio, Rob (Taryn) Hardy of Fombell, step-grandchildren Mason & Lani Jakubiak of Tennessee, great-grandson Bo Hardy, and a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Bannon, due in July. One brother Lloyd E. ‘Skip’ (Pamela) Haswell Jr., of Florida, a sister, Tracie L. Haswell of Ellwood City, Pa. Nephews Wm. Haswell, John Todd both of California, Sam, Wm. & Mike Makarevich of PA. Nieces Chelsea & Kylie Todd of Ellwood City, Christine Hamovitz, Marci Mazenko of PA & Nicole Kosco of Ohio.

Dave also leaves behind many good friends, we should all be so lucky to have the good friends he did.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter & son-in-law Michelle L. & Robert ‘Bo’ Hardy, his sisters, Carol D. Wilfong & Elaine G. Haswell.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
