Ronald “Ronnie” W. Hollinback, 73

Ronald “Ronnie” William Hollinback, 73, years of Ellwood City, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at The VA Community Center in Butler, PA. He was the son of the late William Thomas and Clysta (Dambach) Hollinback and was born on September 28, 1949, in Ellwood City.

He is survived by his sisters; Shirley and her husband Tom of Ellwood City, Caroll Young and her husband Edd of Sewickley, Nieces and Nephews; Jeffrey Syphrit and his wife Jackie of Ellwood City, Richard Syphrit and his wife Nicole of Ellwood City, Lori Syphrit of Ellwood City, Carrie Froce and her husband Neil of Ellwood City, Henry “Mac” Young of Ellwood City, and 8 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School and was employed B&W in Beaver Falls. He was a US Army Veteran. He received his Expert Badge w/rifle Bar and the Marksman Badge w/ Rifle Bar.Ronald was honorably discharged in 1975 and upon his return from the Army, he rejoined B&W. He was later a letter carrier at the Ellwood City Post office for 12 years and finished his career at Praxis. He loved NASCAR and his favorite driver was the “Intimidator” Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He was an avid golfer and and enjoyed bowling and going to his hunting camp in Tionesta. He was a loving son and brother, and uncle.

He is preceded in death by Mark and Randy Syphrit.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 10am-12pm, with the Veteran’s Honor Guard rendering US Army Honors at 12:00pm, with a Funeral Service following at Turner Funeral & Cremation Services,in Ellwood City, with Pastor David Iseminger, II officiating

His interment is private and will be in Butler County Memorial Park.

Arrangements entrusted to THE TURNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
