The deadline for the Community Garden Poster Contest is Friday!
The Ellwood City Borough Department of Public Works opened up the contest last month to all children between the ages of 4-12 to participate by submitting their carefully crafted and drawn artwork.
- Open to all children between the ages of 4-12 years old that reside in the Borough of Ellwood City
- One winning design will be chosen from each age group (4-6, 7-9, 10-12) for a total of 3 winning designs.
- The winning artists will have their artwork prominently displayed in the community garden!
Official poster contest forms can be picked up by visiting the Borough Electric office at the municipal building. All submissions must be turned in by dropping them off at the Municipal Building or mailing them in no later than April 14, 2023. The garden continues to be upgraded every spring through the summer months. Walking paths have been installed and garden beds are in the process of being stained and updated for the new planting year.
