David Eugene Singer, 52, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday morning, March 27th, 2023 at his residence.
David was born on November 16th, 1970 in Ellwood City, PA, a son to Carolyn (Malutich) Forsythe and Gene Singer.
We are all devastated by this huge loss. He was born with an adventurous soul and was always the life of the party. He never met a stranger. Everyone he met was considered his friend. He loved his family fiercely and his boys were his purpose on earth. He will be forever missed.
David was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1989 and was a member of the high school’s wrestling team. He also attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He was employed 31 years at General Electric Transportation in Grove City, PA as a machinist. Dave was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting, dirt bike riding, and spending time with his sons. For several years he volunteered for ECR Youth Wrestling as an assistant coach. Dave will be remembered for his spellbinding ability for storytelling.
He is survived by his mother and father, step-father Russ Forsythe, longtime partner Becky Rue, sons Maddox Singer and Gabriel Singer of Ellwood City, sister Lisa (Rick) Repasky of Pleasantville, PA, and his nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by maternal-grandparents Walter and Noreen Malutich.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Rev. Bruce Gardner officiating.
