The Ellwood City Festival Committee is excited to announce that this well-loved and anticipated patriotic pageant is set to kick off the 2023 Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival.
The pageant beginning at 11:15 am on Friday, June 30th.
After a brief hiatus, new Pageant Chair Jenn Greco, is eager to bring back such an entertaining and adored event.
“The pageant brings great spirit & spunk to our town and really has a way of setting the tone for the rest of the festival weekend,” she explains.

Girls between the ages of 5-7 residing in Ellwood City and Riverside School Districts are able to compete for the title of Little Miss Firecracker 2023.
They will be judged on their stage presence, patriotic outfit and on-stage interview.
The last pageant was held in 2019 and the winner was Aria Cannon (Pictured, left) with 2018 winner was Dia Greco (right) presenting her the trophy.
Participants must have a business sponsorship of $50.00 to enter pageant. If you need help finding a business sponsor, please contact Jenn Greco at the number on the application.

“Those attending the event should expect to be dazzled by the girls patriotic outfits and humored by their interview questions,” adds Greco. “You never know what they’ll say at this age. It’s very entertaining! It really is a fun, family oriented event for all to enjoy!”
