The Ellwood City girls basketball team fell 56-26 Thursday night to the section leading Laurel Spartans as part of their Senior night festivities.
Liz Mihalko, Brooke Roth, and Aliya Garroway were the three Ellwood City girls basketball seniors recognized in advance of the game.
Claire Noble led the Wolverines on the court Thursday with a team-high 11 points while seniors Roth (6 points) and Mihalko (2 points) each collected points in their final home game.
Ellwood City wrapped up its 2022-23 regular season with a 8-14 (2-8 Section 1-3A) record. Kendra Ruperto led four Lady Spartans in double figures with 16 points as Laurel improved to 19-2 overall with its victory.
