McElwain Motors hosted a Toys For Tots drop off at its dealership this holiday season.
The Lawrence County Toys for Tots Foundation picked up the donated toys at the dealership on Tuesday. The dealership was able to fill three Chevy Silverados with toys and also filled a sligh with toys.
The dealership would like to thank everyone who supported this year’s toy drive.
It was a big success and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help says the dealership’s Facebook.com Page.
“The generosity of our owners, employees, customers and members of the local community made this all possible,” says the social media post. “Our hearts are full knowing that we helped play a part in making Christmas morning a little happier for a lot of children in our area.”
According to the Toys For Tots website, the mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
