Mrs. Edith Kravos, 91, formerly of New Beaver Borough, passed away on December 5th, 2022 at the Northview Estates.
Edith was born on May 6th, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late Raymond and Nellie (Cavallaro) DiFalco. She graduated from Ellwood City’s Lincoln High School with the class of 1949.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Bill) Geer of Wampum, son John Kravos III of Wampum, grandchildren Kurt Andrew (Rose) Kravos and Kelly Lynn (Josh) Sonnetti, great-grandchildren Ivy and Sage Sonnetti, and sister Stella M. Santillo of Ellwood City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Kravos Jr. whom she married on May 5th, 1951 and passed away on March 18th, 2019, sister Olga G. Sawor and brother Victor Morris.
As per Edith’s wishes there will not be a public service, interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
Mrs. Kravos’s family would like to thank the staff at Northview Estates for the wonderful care that they extended to her.
Memorial contributions in Edith’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
