Riverside golfer Reece Pilarski has qualified for the WPIAL 2A Boys’ Individual Golf Championship after firing a round of 86 on Monday to advance.
The Panther senior finished with a a round of (44-42. +16) on Monday at the Par-70 Hannastown Golf Club in Greensburg, PA.
Pilarski collected four pars on the afternoon.
The top 36 golfers advanced to the 2A Boys’ Championship Final Round scheduled to take place at Oakmont Country Club on Tuesday, October 4th.
Derry senior Hunter Jurica and Brownsville junior Daniel Sethman each shot low rounds of 74 on Monday.
Pilarski, who finished with a round of 82 in his Section V qualifier, had joined Ellwood City golfer Jordan Keller in qualifying for the WPIAL semifinals. Keller finished with a round of 90 on Monday, missing the cut.
