Ellwood City Cub Scout Pack 806 is holding sign-ups for the 2022-23 scouting year on Wednesday, September 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of First United Methodist Church, 416 Crescent Ave., Ellwood City (use Fifth Street doors).
All boys Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to sign up. For more information or if you are unable to come to the registration night, please contact Pack 806 at cubpack806@gmail.com.
The overall objective of Pack 806 is to provide a safe, FUN atmosphere where boys can grow while learning the core values of scouting: citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect, and responsibility.
In addition to the weekly den meetings, which are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the pack has many activities throughout the school year and summer, including Fall Family Camp, Winter Cabin Camp, Pinewood Derby, overnight adventures, fishing, hiking, community service projects, participation in parades, parties and many more.
