Alexander “Bunnel” Mulig Jr., 66

Alexander “Bunnel” Mulig Jr., 66, of New Castle passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at his sister’s residence in Ellwood City after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born September 26, 1955 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Alexander Sr. and Julia Greco Mulig.

Bunnel went to Riverside High School. After high school, he worked as a self employed contractor. He was a member of the Eagle’s Club and the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City. He enjoyed frequenting the local casinos, had a passion for motorcycles, and loved spending time with his family. He was always dependable and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his fiancée, Robin Carr of New Castle; two daughters, Cory (Jimbo Lawson) Colich of Ellwood City, and Melissa Sue Mulig of Raccoon Township; four sons, Stephen Mulig of Ellwood City, Alexander Brandon (Stephanie) Mulig of Beaver, Randy Mulig and Donnie Mulig both of Ellwood City; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Cody, Caitlyn, Brandon, and Ayden Mulig, Tyler Amicone, and Xavier Patrick; one great grandson, CJ Mulig; sister, Sue (Randy) Gatto of Ellwood City; brother, Bob (Darlene Kelosky) Mulig of Ellwood City.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 11, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave. Ellwood City. Pastor Dave McQuaid will officiate.
