Mrs. Jennie Bartolomeo, 92, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, July 1st, 2022 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Bartolomeo was born on July 3rd, 1929 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph and Marie (Purrina) Pasquale . She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. Jennie had worked at Ellwood City Dust Proof as a seamstress. Along side her husband, Orlando, she enjoyed spending time at their camp at the Slippery Rock Campground for 22 years, and traveling to Florida. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo and card games, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Lynn Bartolomeo of Ellport, sons, Orlando E. Bartolomeo Jr. of Ellwood City, Daniel (Linda) Bartolomeo of Wayne Twp., and Jeffery (Thelma) Bartolomeo of Liberty Twp., OH, sisters, Josephine (Tom) Bunney of Ellwood City, and Rose Hahn of New Castle, brothers, Albert Pasquale of Ellport, and Joseph (Kathy) Pasquale of Florida, sister-in-law, Bertha Pasquale of North Sewickley Twp., grandchildren, Paige Hill, Michael Bartolomeo, Brooke Bartolomeo, Donnie (Jeanette) Snyder, and Ricky Snyder, and great grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Aaron, and Ella Hill and Slade, Ally, and Carson Snyder.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orlando E. Bartolomeo whom she married on July 8th, 1950 and passed away on April 26th, 2014, son, Randall L. Bartolomeo in 1978, grandsons, Aaron Bartolomeo and Daniel Bartolomeo, brothers, Ted, Lawrence, and Anthony Pasquale, sister, Antoinette Pogozelic, and daughter-in-law, Mary Bartolomeo.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5th from 4:00 pm until the time of blessing service at 7:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., with with Father James Wehner officiating. A private interment will take place at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Memorial Donation in Jennie’s name may be made to the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers.
